Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what Temptivo stores, why, and how you can delete it. Temptivo is a personal habit app for iPhone. It does not create an account and it does not run its own servers for your content.
1. Who we are
Temptivo is provided by Oliver Bugár. For privacy questions, email oliver.bugar@gmail.com.
2. Data we store
Temptivo stores the following on your device so the app can work:
- Temptations you add: names, icons, rules (how often something is allowed), and dates you created them
- History: resist, give-in, and earned events with timestamps
- Coins: the coin balance you earn by resisting
- Shop state: items such as an active Streak Shield or an unlocked shop badge, if you use Premium Rewards
- Achievements: which resistance milestones you have unlocked
- Widget snapshot: a small copy of the current coin so the Home Screen widget can display and resist
- Premium cache: whether Temptivo Premium is active, so the widget can respect locked extras
- Tutorial flag: whether you have finished the swipe tutorial
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or health records. Custom temptation names are whatever you type. Do not enter information you do not want stored on the device.
3. Data we do not collect
- No Temptivo account and no sign-in
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs
- No sale of personal information
- No cloud backup operated by Temptivo
4. Why this data exists
It is used only to run the app: show your coin, count resists, keep history, power the widget, remember shop items and achievements, and unlock Premium features you paid for.
5. Purchases and Apple
If you subscribe to Temptivo Premium, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple may collect purchase and account information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Temptivo receives an on-device entitlement from StoreKit so it can unlock Premium. We do not receive your full Apple ID, card number, or billing address.
You can restore purchases in the app. You can manage or cancel the subscription in App Store account settings, or from Manage Subscription in Rewards.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your data. Your temptation list is not shared with other users. The only third party involved in Premium is Apple, for billing and subscription status. Links in the app (Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy) open in Safari.
7. Widget and App Group
The widget reads a limited snapshot through the iOS App Group on your device. That data does not leave the device through Temptivo.
8. Retention
Data stays on the device until you delete a temptation, spend or change shop state, or remove the app. Uninstalling Temptivo deletes local app data, including history, coins, achievements, and widget snapshot stored by the app.
9. How to delete your data
- One temptation: open History and delete it. Its history is removed with it.
- Everything Temptivo stored: delete the app from your iPhone.
- Apple billing records: remain with Apple. Cancel the subscription separately if you no longer want to be charged.
There is no Temptivo account, so there is no in-app “delete account” control. Deleting the app is the full local wipe.
10. Security
Content lives in on-device storage (including SwiftData and App Group UserDefaults). Access follows the security of your iPhone (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID if you use them). Premium purchase traffic uses Apple’s encrypted App Store services.
11. Children
Temptivo is not directed at children under 13. It includes optional categories such as alcohol and cigarettes. Do not use the app to store a child’s personal information. If you believe we have received such information, contact us and we will help you remove what we can (for this app, that means deleting the local data as described above).
12. Health and wellness
Temptivo is a habit tracker, not a medical device. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or counseling. Nothing you log is sent to a clinician through this app.
13. International users
Because content stays on your device, it is processed where the device is. Apple may process subscription data in the regions described in Apple’s policies.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected here before they apply to the app where practical.
