Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Temptivo app. Licensed application end user terms also include Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If anything here conflicts with Apple’s EULA for App Store distribution, Apple’s EULA controls for that distribution.

1. The app

Temptivo is a personal habit tool. You pick a temptation, resist it a set number of times, then earn it. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Temptivo on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store rules.

2. Not medical advice

Temptivo does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or addiction. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis or need medical help, contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.

3. Free features

The core resist loop is free: swipe to resist or give in, urge pause, history, widget, and up to two temptations. Coins are earned by resisting. Coins are not sold for real money.

4. Temptivo Premium

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks:

The price shown in the app is the price Apple charges in your storefront and currency. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in App Store account settings, or from Manage Subscription in Rewards. Restore Purchases is available on the paywall.

If Premium expires, we do not delete your extra temptations. The first two remain usable. Extra ones stay on the device but locked until you subscribe again. Shop and achievements lock. Unlocks you already earned stay saved.

5. Coins and shop

Coins are virtual and have no cash value. Shop items (such as One Skip, Treat Yourself, Streak Shield, and Achievement Badge) are consumed or stored in the app. They are not redeemable for money. Refunds for subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by in-app coin credit.

6. Your content

You are responsible for names and notes you enter. Do not log anyone else’s private information without permission. Content stays on your device unless you back up the device with Apple or another backup you control.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to steal Premium, disrupt the widget or StoreKit, or use Temptivo to harm others. We may refuse support if use violates these terms or Apple’s rules.

8. Intellectual property

The Temptivo name, coin artwork, and app design belong to Oliver Bugár. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute the app except as Apple’s license allows.

9. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that resisting in the app will change real-world habits. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Oliver Bugár is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from use of Temptivo. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, except where the law requires extra notice.
